John has given his talk 36 THINGS I KNOW ABOUT WRITING at festivals around the world. A 90-minute informative and humourous conversation about starting, completing and finishing your novel, as well as information about how to approach agents and publishers, it’s been widely appreciated by readers and aspiring writers alike. The ideal number for the talk is no more than 30.

For this talk, John charges an extra fee. Again, for more information, please contact him here.

Unfortunately, due to the volume of mail received, I’m afraid I’m unable to reply to letters individually, but if you want to write, the address is:

John Boyne (author)
c/o Simon Trewin’s Office,
100 New Oxford Street,
London WC1A 1HB

Note to Schools:
I really appreciate all the letters that come my way from students who have read THE BOY IN THE STRIPED PYJAMAS and am always interested by the questions they ask. Regrettably, I am unable to respond to these letters as there are simply too many to answer, so apologies for that. However the answers to many questions are widely available in interviews on the internet.

Also, due to the pressures of writing a new novel, I am not scheduling any school visits for the foreseeable future.
